I’m running for Marysville City Council At-Large.
My husband and I chose Marysville in 2022 as the place we wanted to raise our family, and it’s been the best decision we’ve made. We’re now raising our four young children here, with our oldest daughter starting kindergarten at Northwood Elementary this year. As a mom, I understand firsthand what young families are looking for in a community — safe neighborhoods, strong schools, thriving local businesses, and opportunities for our kids to grow and succeed.
I’m also a proud small business owner in Uptown Marysville. In March 2024, my mom and I opened iron threads, a relaxed men’s and women’s clothing shop that also supports local schools and teams through spirit wear and fundraising. Being a business owner has shown me both the challenges and opportunities in Uptown, and I’m passionate about revitalizing our historic district and filling vacant storefronts with energy and life.
Beyond family and business, I stay active in our community. I serve on Main Street Marysville, as a board member and a promotions committee member, where I help plan city events and write the monthly newsletter, and I volunteer as a soccer coach for the Union County Independent Soccer League (UCISL).
Marysville is at a defining moment. Growth is moving our way, and we need leaders who will welcome it responsibly — ensuring that our infrastructure, schools, and services keep pace while preserving the small-town character that makes Marysville so special.
I’m running because I believe families like mine deserve a strong voice on City Council. I bring a fresh perspective, the energy of a mom and business owner, and a commitment to making Marysville a place where families and businesses thrive for generations to come.
